Outrageous Fortune was the big winner at the 2007 Qantas TV Awards, winning five of the top drama categories.
The show was named Best Drama and lead actress Robyn Malcolm (Cheryl) won Best Actress while Antony Starr (Van/Jethro) took out Best Actor. Series co-creator and Executive Producer James Griffin won Best Script (beating out his fellow creator and EP Rachel Lang in that category) while editor Bryan Shaw won Best Editing (non-factual).
And it wasn’t just the judges who gave their votes to Outrageous Fortune at this year’s awards. The public also voted the show Favourite New Zealand Drama in the Woman’s Day Reader’ Choice awards and Robyn Malcolm was voted Favourite Female Personality.
