Louise Cameron asks: Was it the second or third series which ended with Wolf setting Judd up with a packet of money in his car? Has Australian channel 9 or 10 bought the latest series?

This happened towards the end of series two.

At this stage, there isn’t a free-to-air broadcaster confirmed in Australia for series 3 (and 4) although Foxtel does have the rights to all the series.

Keep an eye on this website for updates.

Brent asks: hey i would like to know if your show is aired on select tv in australia?

Channel 9 has now played all of series 1 and Ten have played all of series 2. At this stage, there isn’t a free-to-air broadcaster confirmed in Australia for series 3 (and 4) although Foxtel does have the rights to all the series.

We’ll let you know if one of the free-to-air channels buys series 3.

Bronni says: Hi, no question, just a rave! Love the show and loved your movie “Sione’s Wedding”. Something about the light in NZ, like filming in Australia, brings out the best in all thats captured on the screen… and of course the colourful charactors that draw me into the stories. Your actors are fantastic and a credit to you! I am sure you all get a huge laugh when filming, as I do watching. Enormous pat on the back James, to you and your crew. You do NZ proud. Just keeps getting better. Regards from Bronni, in the blue mtns, Sydney, NSW

Thanks for the lovely comments Bronni!

TANYA asks: Hi there, well what can I say outrageous fortune is yet another great thing to come out of New Zealand that Aussies cant get enough of, I loveee it! Im a great fan of the show and all of the characters (the actor who plays the roles of Van and Jethro is a brilliant) but I would have to say my favourite character is Loretta. My question is: is this the first acting role for actor who plays Loretta, how much and what training and research has she done for the role and basically everything I can get to know about both the actress and the role of Loretta (cant get enough,I have teenage kids and i feel she has the characteristics of the average teen down to a Tee)!

Hi there,

Thanks so much for your comments!

Antonia Prebble (the actress who plays Loretta) actually had quite a few acting roles before Outrageous Fortune. Her first role was in the children’s series Mirror Mirror 2 at the age of 12.

A full biography with all Antonia’s acting credits is available in the ‘people’ section of this website.

Auckland Girl asks: Hi John are you wanting or needing new people for the show or anything like that for the show?

Hi!

Thanks for your question.

We are fully crewed for series four of the show. We hire cast via talent agencies, so the best way to go about joining a production is to get yourself an agent.

Good luck!
