Hey Jessie,

Those last two years of school are tough aren’t they? Just stick it out and go one week, one term at a time bud – you’ll be out before you know it.

Thanks for your praise; I’ll work hard to live up to it.

Grant.

James asks Grant: Hi im a big fan of the show. Im just on holiday in Perth and sat through an episode of Border Security and thought it was your voice and I was proved right by the Credits at the end. I then followed up by checking Wikipedia and it says you were born here (in Perth). My question is have you lived in NZ long coz you sound like a KIWI? That is of course – if you do actually LIVE there. Look forward to series 4 :)

Hey James,

Na, the ‘Wikipedia’ is wrong, I was born in Auckland, NZ and moved to Australia when I was very young.

We did live in Perth for a time, before settling in Brisbane. The Kiwi accent is courtesy of my Kiwi mum, grandmother and uncle (plus five Maori cousins and my auntie!).

Cheers,
Grant.

Ashlee asks Claire: hey claire just wanted 2 say awesome job on playing aurora i never thought i could b so devastated ova a tv character dying… easily the best female character on tv.. just wondering why u left is there any other roles coming up that i should keep an eye out 4?? m/

Hi Ashlee,

Thank you for your lovely email! I’m glad you enjoyed her. If you live in Aussie then there is a new series called Canal Road starting on Channel Nine sometime this year and I appear in the first episode of that. It’s definitely a bit of fun.

Thanks for taking the time to write,

Cheers…Claire x

Jessica asks: Hi how do you come up with the storylines for each character?

We have a team of very creative writers who come up with storylines by the episode. They then write scripts from these storylines.
