Chantelle asks: Where in New Zealand is Outrageous fourtune filmed.

Hi Chantelle,

Outrageous Fortune is filmed in a west Auckland studio and on location around the greater Auckland area.

We don’t allow public to visit the studios as it can be highly disruptive to our hard-working cast and crew. We also protect the address of the house so the residents don’t get bothered by thousands of visitors!

Thanks for watching the show!

Heather says: Hi – I think it is great the way you support and promote kiwi music on the show, and the forum shows that it prompts people to seek out Kiwi bands they might not have heard of. I recently heard a great song by Hamilton band The Shrugs, called ‘Dead by Morning’ which I thought you might find perfect for the show.

Thanks Heather!

Anonymous asks: i was wondering where you got the “pascalle” necklace from as i was wanting one

We got this necklace from Walker and Hall about four years ago. You can get them in silver (like Pascalle’s) or gold.

Catherine asks Siobhan: Hi Siobhan, I was just wondering if it was fun to play such a ditzy, blonde character? And by the way I reckon that you play her soooooooo well – absolutely love Pascalle. Keep shining like the star you are !!! :)

Yes, it’s great fun!

Thanks!

Rose asks Siobhan: Hi Siobhan, your character in OF is hilarious! A lot of people have told me that if u eva go to mexico, not to travel alone because its so dangerous, did u and co-star Antonia Prebble stop there while u were traveling, and if so, is it as dangerous as everybody says it is?

Hello,

Yes we did stop in Mexico and had a great time. You have to be careful just like everywhere – but we were camping on a beach and had no problems at all.

My favourite day was when we had a car accident and went off the road (not that bit…) and the next six cars to pass us all stopped and helped. In this great team effort (without us Kiwis really even helping), they had towed us back to the road, waved goodbye, hopped into their cars and drove off.

I found the Mexicans so friendly and helpful and can’t wait to go back, That was on the Baja Peninsula.
