Sarah asks: Hiya, I was just wondering where you get your make-up crew from? What is the highest/best school to take , im in love with your show and would love to have the chance to work with these amazing actors.
Hi there.
The makeup department consists of a makeup designer, their key assist and two full time team members. Teams are put together based on their skills and the needs of the show.
It’s great that you have a passion for the industry. Training is essential. The best training in Auckland is at The Makeup School which recently opened on Ponsonby Rd. Hair skills are always a bonus, so you could also look into a hairdressing course as well. To get into the industry you have to start with the basics and work your way up.
