Michelle Ang stars in new film, Girl Meets Boy

This Sunday Michelle Ang (Tracy Hong on OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE) begins shooting a lead role in South Pacific Pictures’ new feature film, Girl Meets Boy.

The film is a romantic comedy/coming-of-age feature film based on the award-winning 2005 documentary Banana in a Nutshell by Roseanne Liang. Liang directs Girl Meets Boy, which she co-wrote with Angeline Loo.

Michelle plays the character Emily Chu.

We can’t tell you that! It’d spoil the cliffhanger!

Liz says: Kia Ora, I’d like to thank all crew for performing the best show ever, i first saw this aired ins adeladie/australia watched it once and and became hooked straight away. such a realistic show for kiwi’s reminds me of home, beautiful nature people and also staunch families. makes me wanna move back home to hawkes bay, every one of you are brilliant and i intend to watch this show always. this has to be the most hardcase show i ever seen. love it to pieces and definately kicks butt over many shows i could name, outrageous fortune is not fake this is how it is back home.. Vote for us in the TV Guide Best on the Box People’s Choice Awards

Outrageous Fortune has eight nominations in this year’s TV Guide Best on the Box People’s Choice Awards.

The show is up against The Cult, Go Girls, Shortland Street, Piece of My Heart and Until Proven Innocent in the Best Drama category.

Leading lady Robyn Malcolm (Cheryl West) has been nominated yet again for Sexiest Woman and Best Actress, but can she hold the title of Sexiest Woman for a third consecutive year?

Antony Starr (Van and Jethro West) has also been nominated in the Sexiest Man and Best Actor categories where he’s joined by castmates Kirk Torrance (Wayne Judd) and Charles Mesure (DS Gerard). Siobhan Marshall (Pascalle West) is nominated alongside Robyn in the Best Actress category.

Voting forms will be published in the February 11 and 18 issues of the TV Guide. To vote online, visit www.tv-guide.co.nz/botb. Winners in each of the 24 categories will be announced in the March 18 issue of the magazine.
