Sometimes sacrifices have to be made to truly do a great story.
It was really sad and everyone loved Aurora. But OF wouldn't be the same without that storyline and that ending. -

I disagree. Series 3 was great watching and the intense acting made it better than series 4. I wasn't a fan of the "Lorita" storyline. -

I have to agree with maisy. season 2 was by far the best, then 3 and then 1. season 4 ranks 4th to me -

after watching s2 i was hanging for 3 when i finally got it i sat myself down all ready for some awsome entertainment,Then i found myself bawling my eyes out i was a mess. s3 was so good so sad but so good. I have watched it over again, and again i was a bawling mess. I must say that Van did piss me off for a while after the death, but by the end of the series he was the van i loved again.
4 is 4th with me to... bring on 5.

i think season 4 was my least favourite....hard to say....season 3 sucked because there was a lot of Gary Savage and because of Aurora's death (although it was first class acting and an absolutely top notch story line).
Season 4 was less enjoyable for me, although I think it has really carried the story along....so much has happened in season 4 that it has kept me hooked (i just didn't like the Lorita thing) although...having said that...i actually liked her with Vern. I liked the way he respected her even though he was still in love with her dead grandmother. -

I wonder whether series 4 was a bit of a "quick, what are we going to do now we can't follow the Gary Savage story". Parts of it were great, the acting was still mostly great but parts of the storyline just lacked something compared to the others IMO. -

i vividly enjoyed series 2 and 3, probably because i had the intense build up between each episode, since it played once a week.
and watching series four all at once was fun, but i'd prefer to have that extended wait betweeen each episode. and with the dvd's right in front of you, you lose all self-control. -

You are so right mary jane there is no self control for an OF junkie, every series i've had, i've been like i will only watch 1 ep at a time, next thing i know i'm on to disk 2 or 3 and the kids need to be picked up from school and i have not got them any dinner and the house is a mess. seriously it takes over my life and i LOVE IT..

And plus i liked the Cheryl, Wolf, Judd & Van, Aroura, Tyson storyline a tad more than the nicky, loretta, pascelle & Van, Sheree, Wolf ones. Series 1-3 were more about the love, Van had it then lost it..aww..Cheryl found a new one...and Wolf & Tyson miss out. Ohh and theres Casey and Munter (lucky casey), aswell as the Loretta & Hayden fling, which was dead-set geniusly written.
Series four has the more action, good guy- bad guy thing. With a twist of betrayel and redemption, and a sprinkle of babies, which always makes the show fun to watch and more interesting.
