    Gerard couldnt have survived that stabbing he got. If you look closely, there was a shyteload of blood gushing out from his neck. I'm pretty sure nothing could stop that bleeding, or something that could wouldn't make it to him in time.

    As for Cheryl and Pascalle, I reckon it'll be like Pulp Fiction, shoot and miss every time. They could use the excuse of Gerard being inaccurate due to his injury.

    When he shoots his gun off it looks like he's looking past Cheryl like to the back of  maybe both of them.  But Im thinking that he shoots Pascalle and she lives.

    i was thinking if he thought he was about to die he probs would have tried to take revenge on cheryl b4 he died,he wuldnt just shoot in the air

    Or shoot someone behind cheryl to save her, when she just killed him.

    I dont think he is shooting behind them or shooting at someone else or someone else jumped in the way. I think he fired at either Cheryl or Pascarl.

    Agreed. People will be gutted if Pascalle or Cheryl die and they will also be very dissapointed if the two somehow avoid the shooting. But I still have faith in the show's brilliance. We will just have to wait and see.

    You're completely right LOFeShane.  If ANYBODY could get away with something ridiculous like all the bullets missing/nobody getting hurt, our OF writers can.  They're pretty amazing like that.

    If Cheryl dies I will probably cry my eyes out, no joke. When Tama died, it was like losing a member of our OWN family, not just the TV shows family!! It was terrible, I've never been so upset because of a TV Show !

     I belive that Gerard will die and Cheryl will end up in prison! Theres no way she could get out of it - he's a cop after all, the court would rule in his favour

    And shes an ex-criminal, head of a notorious crime family. and she stabbed him in the neck with a broken bottle, whilst resisting a police officer. Coupled with Grampas S5 crime, and the brawl, things dont look good for the wests...

    yeah, but that arrest seemed really dodgy to me. like it wasn't real. as if gerard was just being a prick. did anyone else see that?

    Yeah like it was the same group of thugs that raided the house in the first ep with him..very dodgy but yet Sheree was still arrested.

    Apprently the actor of Gerrad has moved to austrailia and Pascall well the actor wants off the show so i think that perhaps Cheryl might've dreamed the entire thing up when she was in hospital after the baby died or Gerrad had shot passcal and Cheryl didnt face charges cos gerrad was a dirty cop.. or something.

    Neato! Charles Mesure will be there when series 5 airs in Australia.  Gerard is still alive there.

    Somebody said S6 opens several days after the end of S5. The John Campbell scenes could be the very first.

    I reckon Gerrard Lives and Pascalle dies and because no-one saw what happened Cheryl will say she stabbed him trying to protect her daughter after he shoot??? Not before??? Therefore not go to prison.  Ohhhh I dont know what will hapen i just reckon the show wont go on without Cheryl and, Gerrard is a cop so he wont die and Pascalle is the only one left! cos it would leave a cool story line between gerrard and nicki especialy if gerrard goes to prison!! That would be awesome, some good fights would go down in funky town!!!

    maybe Cheryl DOES die, but continues to influence her loved ones in a similar manner to how the father in six feet under was always around even though he was dead. It actually worked in that show and I could see OF doing something weird like that.

    I mean it's going to be kinda hard filming season 2 of the U.S. show "V" this year.
    You do know that "V" was picked up for a second season and that Charles is one of the leading stars of that show.

    Gerard's bloodless body, is in the witness protection programme? Groans.  I really hope not. That was a lot of blood that poured out of him.

    He apparently survived surgery and they would have put a lot of blood back into him.
    What did he witness to make it necessary to protect him? If he had the goods on some high-ranking cops, it would have been easier to let him die or kill him.Unless good cops are protecting him from bad cops. If he's alive, I don't believe he'd let Cheryl rot in jail for years for murdering him. Unless he's not physically or mentally able to do anything about it.

    Like Cheryl's telephone scenes, Gerard's return could have been blocked out a year ago.

    He witnessed Judd's plan, which Gerard found out involved Cheryl killing him. And we all know how evil Judd is so of course Gerard needed protecting from him.

    Only with a stake through the heart. Or burning his body. Perhaps Loretta is the best man for the job. I have a feeling she'd know what to do.
