As the Wests are divided over vengeance and lynching, there are tribulations and also some trials. The second to last episode ever.

    Time to resurrect this thread!

So what final loose threads do we have for the final (!!!) two episodes?

Cheryl's trial, the Pascalle / Judd storyline, Bailey (surely there's going to be a twist involved there?), Jethro's business dealings and his vendetta against Judd, Van & Elena & Roy, a Wolf appearance (fingers crossed!), and some clarification regarding the whole family's stance towards crime (will they end up as they started, will Cheryl's return mean the vow to go straight gets renewed?) . . .  maybe a wedding and / or a death?

Any others that anyone can think of?

As none of these storylines directly involve Loretta, I hope she's still in the thick of it cos she's always been my fave character.

Hey Maz, you've covered everything except... Munter and Casey – they'll just box on into respectable and responsible parenthood I s'pose. But what about the brothel? And will Grandpa have a final heart attack and cark? and what about Aaron, who has proved to be a much more lovable character than he seemed at first?

Maz, I agree that surely there's more to Bailey than meets the eye? Though I can' t really think of anything other than she'd dump Jethro once she's done with the court case (so she basically used Jethro to get the big Cheryl case, kind of like she used Van to get those cases with everyone earlier). I actually would like her more for being ruthless and ambitious as a lawyer (who didn't do so well at law school, but is really being a pretty great lawyer otherwise). And I always like it when someone outwits Jethro at his own game.

And I wonder if we'd get to see Grandpa (now that he's all pissed at Jethro) stop being so petty to Wayne for throwing him out of the house and they can be friends again. I think one of my favorite things on the show is that unlikely father-son relationship between the two, and I've really missed it all season.

So, Jethro vs. Wayne. Think this is the episode where it'll happen, or is all the shit going down in the last episode?

Anyone else just spot the OF ad? Judd's going to get the crap beaten out of him, but by who? Wolf? Please be Wolf! Aaron? Nicky? Jethro and Van couldn't care less. Not enough to give him a beating. Pascalle confronts Cheryl. This is going to be a goody!

I wonder if this is the bar brawl... where Hayden head-butted someone who looked very much like Nicky (from behind though so might not be).  My bet's on him though!

I don't think Judd is part of it. In another promo for next week (I mean tomorrow), Van has a bruised and bloody nose/face and Judd doesn't have a scratch on him (in the same scene at Van's place). Two separate events. I could very well be wrong. The bar brawl is this episode (I'm almost certain lol).

Why would Nicky come back and risk being recaptured and sent to prison.  The only reason he left the country and left Pascalle in the first place is he couldnt hide out in NZ forever.  As much as he might want to beat the crap out of Judd, he will surely be too chicken and too smart to come back to NZ?
Now I am going to get pissed if someone beats my Wayne.  Pascalle was, after all, only practice, for when he gets to be with me! Dont you damage his bits, you hear?

Just saw the preview for tonight, Cheryl slaps Pascalle, haha!

The whole bar brawl scene went far too quick for me to make sense of it.  Looked like Judd had cuts on his face, Munter was thrown onto a pool table?  Grandpa said something about cooking a 'Piggy'  I guess it will all become clearer in 7 hours timeLaughing

If the wests split as I gather they will Munter and Kasey will be on Cheryl's side because of that Van/chasing the girl thing, and Munter kept telling Judd he was no help at all and was getting mad at him. I think Van will be on Judd's side though because it kinda worked out between him and firl but then he is pretty close to his Mum! I think Cheryl will get out tonight and there will be lots of media and stuff on the fam. I really can't wait!!!

It's funny, I think the split would be different depending on whether it's Cheryl vs Judd or Grandpa vs Judd.  I'm not sure which this is going to be but I suspect it will be the big Grandpa and Jethro vs Judd showdown.  I can see Kasey and Munter siding with Cheryl, but not with Grandpa.  Munter would take Van's side of just about any conflict.

And if Loretta, Hayden and Van take Judd's side... I can actually imagine Cheryl kicking the lot of them out next week and ending the series in the house on her own, smoking a cigarette and drinking a rum 'n' coke.

  1.
Let's not forget Season 4 when Munter cheated on Kasey and Judd and Munter were living together, they may disagree about things but they bonded over that season.

I also think Wolf will definately have a hand to play in the matter between Judd and Pascalle. If we remember back to end of Season 4, Wolf specifically talks to Pascalle about helping her out if she ever needed anything, bit of foreshadowing maybe...

Yeah but who's side would Wolf take?  He'd be more likely to try and get Cheryl back, and then piss Pascalle off by smacking Judd over.  If Judd being with Cheryl wasn't bad enough, Judd shagging his princess would make him go ballistic.

I love that Jimmy has grown a mustache for the role (a la Judd)! He looks like he might be a senior (high ranking) officer. The guy on the right looks familiar too, I can't place him, I'm guessing a SPP connection?

Saw another ad for tonight. I think this is the same one Wolf fan mentioned. Pascalle getting slapped by Cheryl, bar brawl, Judd in the thick of it. Looks like Draska helps organise a lynch mob to get Judd, possibly requested by Cheryl after Jethro tells her to point her anger at Judd. A nice shot of Judd being thrown onto the pool table by some thug. Poor Aaron concerned about step-incest, and Munter telling him it's not actually incest. Oh and Ted's moved back in. Things are as they should be I guess.

Drew, your theory about the cast wearing the same clothes as in the cast shot in the last few eps is somewhat true, Judd is wearing the jacket he is wearing in the same shot as him and Cheryl.
