6 months after the final episode airs and there is still merchandise being released! I think this is the same DVD that was available at the exhibition (if someone could please confirm this for me I'd be stoked). If you don't have the box set, I highly recommend this DVD. And it's mighty cheap too! For anyone interested, the only difference between this DVD and the bonus disk in the box set is one video, which is also viewable on youtube.

Nearly forgot the most important bit, available from July 6 in NZ.
I haven't watched this DVD in some time, but what would this be referring to (as per the blurb from mighty ape): "It also includes special moments from throughout the 6 seasons."?

Just quietly, I was hoping for some extra extra's which would force me to buy it for a third time. In that case, I wont be running to the shops to buy it, so to speak. -

Does it, by any chance, include Robyn answering the fans' questions from a while back? Really curious to see if she dared answer mine. -

Oui oui, Monsieur! Plus others. It has one interview in particular that you'll either love, or find that it creeps you out a tad! -

That's the reason why I bought the DVD at the Museum (to see which questions she was asked). What was your question again, Kieran? -

My question was, how does she respond to the majority of the fans saying season 6 sucked doggie willies and what did she think of s6 herself? I know the second bit was utterly pointless, since I don't think the actors are even ALLOWED to express dislike for their own product, but it's not like that would ever stop me from asking anyway. -

You might be a tad disappointed then Kieran. Although, the insight you get from the interviews (4 of them) is alone worth getting the DVD. -

To me insight means nothing without proper execution. Sure they might have had a rough idea of what they wanted s6 to be like and they might feel that their ideas were justified, but to me the result of the execution looks like one huge filler marathon. So yeah, those interviews aren't worth anything to me.
I'd rather watch paint dry than listen to them yap on about why this and why that. Their reasoning behind the choices they made doesn't matter anymore because it's over. I couldn't bring myself to buy the s6 dvd set, even though I own all previous seasons, and I'm glad I had this chat before buying this dvd because you changed my mind. Thx for saving me 25 bucks. -

It's actually more about the series as a whole, rather than one particular season. But it's your choice. -

I'd like to point out a small triumph on my behalf. I brought this forum back to life, for all of 3 and a bit days. Hazah! Now back to sleep little forum. -

Actually that would be me, it was my response that triggered the small flurry of replies. Thanks for the flowers Louise96. Back to suspended animation now. -

Gossip girl
Gossip girl is the first drama taking recent trendy popular elements, like "blog" and "SMS" as central theme, and do not make people feel contrived, stiff, false and trick. In Gossip Girl on dvd, drink alcohol, promiscuity, drug abuse has become a mutual intrigue for those high school students, just as normal as drinking water, having lunch. Similarly, the "blog" and "SMS" have already become indispensable important part in their life, these elements are real and normal, perfectly involving in this drama. We’ve watched so many similar themes dramas with teen idols, and some things we've seen thousands of times, a normal boy fell in love with the humble popular question girl, and his point of view on this girl is different from others, impressed the girl’s heart; then a handsome boy with depress heart, full of disgust for life, all because of pressure from parents, and so on. ButGossip Girl dvd is a new drama with an ornate packaging, making the audience feel fresh and interesting, at least I have this feeling after watching the first episode. Of course, thanks to the successful shape of other supporting characters in this drama, they’re all described as "gray", that is, swing at good and evil sides, or no different between good and evil, rather than simply being described as "black" or "white ", which makes the conflicts in two central characters, Serena and Blair, more dramatic. However, this is high school, not business field, not Vanity Fair, not politics...

just a quick question about the dvd. what are the differences in content between this disc and the bonus disc in the box set, and what content is on both dvds? i own S1-S4 individually, so it would be easier for me to buy the dvds separately than to sell what I have now and replace with the box set. thanks :) -

The bonus disc featured in the box set has a bunch of additional material that's not featured on any of the standalone DVDs...
