    im in australia and im busting to know how she dies

    Hi Jessica.
    Aurora died in Hospital when her life support was switched off.
    She was on a motorcycle fleeing from the cops with her ex boyfriend
    Tyson's Marijuana stash when she crashed into a car and fell off her bike, sending her into a deep coma which she never awoke from.

    Definitely the most tragic event in the entire series and had me and many other viewers in tears.

    im an kiwi living in australia and it sucks because we have like 5 eps before we see it and t just sucks i mean her and van were a pwefect couple and she was like keeping the west house together and it just sucks so much

    hey hitchy, what channel are you watching on? I think chan 10 showed final ep seas 2 last night, are they gunna show seas 3? gotta keep up wit tha show....

    I think part of the reason we found it so heart breaking in NZ was because of the shock of it. Van's behaviour before hand and then the accident were so out of the blue, and the fact that Aurora died was definitely not expected. Even when they played the final scene in that episode, I was still left hoping she would come through, watching in tears! SPP did a great job of keeping the storylines secret, and I think it's almost a let down when you know what's going to happen next. But that doesn't stop me from trying to find out!!!!

    I agree luckaholic I havnt even seen the start to the second series yet and now they had to go and blow it for us!!

    yeah ur right it does ruin it but at the same time u want 2 know and r so egar to find out that u cant help but try and find out what happens in the future

    Man Ive missed out on soooo much ive been addicted to the show from the start i cant miss a eppisode i cant believe she died i feel cheated that ive misse in im in australia and this show kicks neighbours ass!!!! if all NZ tv is like this then bring it on lol

    Here's an insight if you are busting to know. Aurora dies from a motorbike accident while she is being chased.

    Actually, she wasn't being chased by anyone. She was taking Tyson's stash to hide before the cops raided his house and got taken out by a bus load of partying accountants at an intersection.

    i didnt know aurora dies......ouch, this hurts! i've really grown to like her character heaps, poor van...how sad

    Imagine how we felt over here watching it with NO warning!!! I don't think they even had a hint in the promos. Usually they say 'one of the best loved charcters will be gone forever" or some such crap, but there was NOTHING!!!! Even at the end, there was still hope, but til the credits rolled, no one knew! I BAWLED for about a half hour. It was the most AWESOME episode, even tho it was so sad.

    i seen eric on this show on sbs last nite, didnt realsie it was him till he got drunk lol, and i think bruces sister was also on the same show, not 100% sure if it was her

    OK - I admit it - I'm an Aussie through and through but both my husband and I are hooked on OF. Saw my first episode late at night and didn't 'get it' but when my husband urged me to give it a second go I fell in love with the West Household. I'd heard rumours about Aurora's death - sad because she really did pull the West family together but I guess that's probably why she had to go because the West's wouldn't be the West's if they were 'all together'. Heard rumours about Loretta's baby and I can't wait to see series 3!

    im in aus and i agree if u have series three yet and dont know about auroas death then dont click here just because our stupid tv stations dont play the eps rightly as they should then dont say dont spoil the ending just dont click on these forums most of these forums are now about series 3 so get over it and buy series 3.

    what channel is outrageous fortune on in australia???? i only watched the christmas episode last night which is old azzzzz that was on austar ( sky ) but is it on just normal television...let me know please love the programme..

    Its not on free to air anymore...but you can get all 3 seasons at JB HiFi or Ebay.

    I heard that she had died before i watched it... but it was so unexpected that she died that way. I was kind of glad I knew before it happened

    It doesn't really matter I suppose, I guess I'm one of those people that don't like being told how the movie ends.
    We still love the show and will still watch it.
    We have friends from NZ that come over on Sundays and we watch it togethter.
    I love the accent

    The song at the end is No ordinary Thing by opshop- a NZ band I think. Plays quite regularly on the radio over here.

    I cant believe that Aurora died on the show. She was one of my favourite characters. I cried in that episode. It felt so real. Such great acting!
