Joining OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE in series five, Hori Ahipene is already a well-known skilled comedian and accomplished actor and director.

A graduate of Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, Hori’s film credits include Perfect Creature, Rapanui and The Piano.

Hori’s television acting credits include lead roles in the New Zealand comedy series Skitz, Telelaughs and The Semisis and guest roles in Mercy Peak, Shortland Street, Mataku, Taonga as well as Hercules: the Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess and Jack of All Trades.

As a director for stage and screen, Hori’s credits include multiple seasons of the acclaimed plays Frangipani Perfume and Mapaki as well as the Maori children’s series Pukana, Korero Mai and Manutioriori.

Hori’s theatre credits include: A Christmas Carol, The Learner’s Stand, Te Hokina and Hide and Seek which he also wrote and which won the 1992 Chapman Tripp Award for Most Original Production.
