Dane Harris is a contemporary of Van and Munter. Dane is something of a legend in his own lunchtime. He’s known to throw some of the best parties in town (he does an awesome pig on a spit). He’s also known for his jammy good luck. He’s managed to get off a number of serious charges and not do all that much time.

Dane himself doesn’t see this as luck, he sees it as the Dane Harris magic, the package that combines brains with good looks and makes him very popular, particularly with the ladies. Yep, he can talk a chick into doing anything. And he means anything. Dane’s had a whole heap of girlfriends, and kids with quite a few of them, though he’s not known to be an attentive father. Dane sees himself as a guy who can’t be tied down, a guy who other guys look up to, even if he has just banged their missus. Because he’s Dane Harris, a man with plans, and you shouldn’t mess with those, or his high opinion of himself, because that’s when Dane gets angry.

And that’s a side of Dane you don’t want to see.
