Jethro is in his early 20s and suffers from a bizarre affliction, in that he is bright, very bright. A lawyer, in fact. When he was 13, Jethro could strip down a car in record time and his father saw a promising future for him. Unfortunately, a well-meaning teacher realised that he had a photographic memory and an IQ off the scale. Cheryl is delighted that Ms Darling has shepherded her son to his current heights. What she does not know is that Jethro has also been having an affair with Ms Darling since he was 15.
